About SMC
Standford Machinery Company(SMC) is established in September 1971, has been manufacturing high precision tire molds for over 40 years.
The important breakthrough was introducing CAD/CAM system in the 90’s, we transformed to automated machining plant successfully, greatly improved in the fields of precise processing, machining speed, and quality of the molds, afterwards we obtained Japanese quality approvals and entered Japanese market. Till now SMC is the largest and leading tire mold manufacturer in Taiwan, renowned by its quality oriented policy. We provide the best tire molds of summer tires, snow tires, all season tires for cars, light trucks, trucks, SUV, etc.
SMC group has service teams in China, Japan and Indonesia, in charge of mold supply and repair. From the early 90’s, we invested factory in China we also manufacture all steel two piece mold, bladder mold, tube mold, flap mold and containers in different sizes.
The flexibility of CAM function enables us to make all kinds of impellers and turbines for both commercial market and national defense research department. In 2000 we‘ve on the list of “Class I” impeller venders and became AIDC’s (Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation) supplier. We are the only tire mold company which enables to make aerospace parts at the same time in Taiwan.
Besides, our casting technique is the finest among Taiwan’s tire mold suppliers. Our tire molds are accurate in roundness and rib(groove) dimension, durable and scarcely pin holes, admired by all customers in Taiwan.
